M.I.S. is a Native concept band with the purpose of putting Indigenous issues at the forefront of their explosive attack, which draws inspiration from a deep catalog of Thrash, Black, Death, Doom and Heavy metal. Founded in 2019 by Corey Ashley (guitar/vocals) and Jacob Stepetin (guitar). M.I.S. was created to serve as a medium of social change and empowerment for Indigenous communities.
